Brooks Internet Software Hosts 2001 Global Reseller Conference

Delegates to Convene in Idaho Falls to Learn More About the Network Printing Software

Idaho Falls, ID - May 16, 2001 - Brooks Internet Software, Inc. (Brooks), a leader in TCP/IP network printing software, will host the first annual Global Reseller Conference in Idaho Falls, May 21-22. The two-day conference entitled "New Marketing Opportunities for Network Printing Solutions" will focus on understanding the dynamics of TCP/IP printing and expanding market share.

Brooks' Global Reseller Program is an integral part of the Brooks sales and marketing division. Brooks currently has over 75 Resellers servicing both domestic and international clients. Resellers market, sell and support Brooks' software products within their market region in return for discounted pricing from the company. The program has continued to grow since its introduction in 1996 and is responsible for approximately 30% of the company's revenue.

"Brooks Global Reseller Program has been a success for not only the Resellers but allows us to service international and domestic clients we have not reached through our own marketing activities," said Dave Brooks, president of Brooks Internet Software, Inc. "The 2001 Global Reseller Conference is designed to pay tribute to the success our Global Reseller Program, and provide opportunities for the Resellers to learn more about successfully penetrating the network printing market. We are all looking forward to interacting directly on product and marketing strategies."

Delegates from at least five countries will join Brooks Internet Software in Idaho Falls for the annual conference. The conference agenda includes sessions hosted by a number of Brooks' employees. Brooks boasts a wide range of staff expertise from product development and technical support to marketing and sales, OEM and partner relations, and research in emerging market trends.

Conference sessions include subjects such as "Understanding the Competition," which will focus on what makes Brooks Internet Software solutions stand above competitors' offerings, and "Global Web Marketing - Searching for Results," which discusses ways to optimize search engine activity and increase targeted visits to web sites.
