Federal Agency Saves on Automated Mainframe Printing Costs with RPM

A US federal agency uses RPM as a virtual PDF printer to generate electronic documents from their mainframe print jobs. RPM also routes the documents to the correct user or department based on the data in the document. This agency has also found RPM simple to work with, and even self-explanatory.

INTELLIscribe Critical to Party City Ordering Kiosks Success

A Party City franchise in California developed a kiosk system using our INTELLIscribe software to simultaneously print multiple copies of a custom order, one going to the customer and one to the warehouse. This eliminated the need for floor staff to manually coordinate custom orders since each department that needed the information had it immediately. Brooks technical staff was able to work with the franchise holder at all stages to overcome technical challenges. The stores achieved high sales volume on busy days by simply eliminating the communications bottleneck with a simple system that printed in multiple locations.

RPM Integral to Sharecare’s Secure Records, Workflow for Patient Medical Records

Sharecare Health Data Services (formerly BACTES) uses RPM as a virtual printer, converting the medical Release of Information records to PDF and TIFF. RPM provides the print workflow for patient records, eliminating the need for staff to print and scan. Brooks staff also works closely with Sharecare engineers to find the right answers to new workflow challenges.

Voyage Federal Credit Union in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is using Fiserv Reliance, DocuSign, and our RPM software to fully automate customers signing documents on an iPad immediately, on location. The Fiserv platform runs on Linux and generates PCL whereas the document signing software needs PDF. Fiserv prints to RPM as a virtual PDF printer; RPM serves as the bridge between these two platforms in real time.
