What does “Supported” mean on the license status?
Each purchase of an RPM license includes a year of support, updates, and maintenance. We define support to include:
- You have the right to move your license to a new CPU (but not to run it simultaneously on two CPUs, as per the EULA)
- You have access to software updates
- You are welcome to contact our staff for support and assistance
Please note that the software will continue to run without issue beyond the time that support expires, if it expires. If your license reverts to trial mode, or if the serial number changes, or if anything in the performance changes in any way, it has nothing to do with the support period.
In a recent RPM update, we’ve added the support period status to the license status in the event log. Again, it does not affect the software’s performance.
